Omar Mubarak MD FACS
Dr. Mubarak was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1994 with a Bachelors degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, along with a minor in Philosophy.
Dr. Mubarak obtained his medical degree in 1999 from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed his general surgery residency at Michigan State University and his vascular surgery Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan in July 2004. Dr. Mubarak’s special areas of interest are endovascular and open surgery.
His wife, Leslie Rose, is a Rheumatologist at the VA hospital in Denver. Recently, Dr. Mubarak and his wife had their first child. Dr. Mubarak is the son of Fayzeh and Asa’ad Mubarak, MD, former thoracic and general surgeon at Lutheran Medical Center.
